Hyperthyroïdie

Une hyperthyroïdie augmente la sensibilisation du cœur aux stimulations bêta-adrénergiques [1] [2].

  • Il en résulte un hyperautomatisme dont le signe le plus constant est la tachycardie sinusale.
  • L’hyperthyroïdie facilite aussi l’apparition d’une fibrillation atriale (ou une autre tachycardie atriale).
  • Elle favorise une hypertrophie ventriculaire secondaire à l’augmentation parfois considérable de la charge de travail.
  • Plus rarement, elle peut entraîner des signes électriques d’insuffisance coronaire et/ou un hypervoltage du tracé (ondes P, complexes QRS, ondes T).
  • Prolongation de l’intervalle QT [2]
